Based on successful work for another fashion retailer, we were chosen to design and fabricate wall and floor display shelving for Betsey Johnson’s new flagship store in New York city’s SOHO district. We designed 8ft arched steel arbors adorned in hand wrought vines and stamped steel flowers all finished in shiny gold flake to mimic the eccentricity of the owner’s style and highlight the exaggerated print patterns and vibrant colors for which she is known. Each 5 shelf arbor was equipped to accommodate both plate glass shelves and steel hang bars with multiple attachment points to allow for easy switch out for evolving merchandise changes and display variations. Similar fixturing and unique site specific signage was also fabricated for stores in Boston Massachusetts,Melrose California and Miami Florida.
